Hatha yoga is done through the use of breath work, Pranayama to create a link between the body and the mind. It is meant to build flexibility and strengthen you both mentally and physically. This particular style opens the left and right side of the mind opening your chakra system creating a channel within you to allow emotional healing as well as opening the right and left side of your body, allowing movement and deep stretches to all bones and muscles in the body.

HA translated to English means Sun and THA translates to moon representing both hemispheres of the body which become balanced once engage in the postures of Hatha, learning to still the mind and be present in the moment.

What you can expect that your class will be a gentle approach to building up your strength and flexibility as well as your patience and intuitiveness that will assist in reducing stress, lowering your blood pressure, creating more energy and a better night’s sleep.
