On The Sides Records presents:
Community Creative: Live Music & Arts Market

Jump start the holidays:
Join the community for our 1st Live Music and Local Art showcase,
Hosted at The Hideout, in Toronto.

We are proud to share an event that supports the inclusivity of ALL local artists!
Community Creative is a place for everyone to inspire and be inspired by expressing their talents and supporting those of others.

Each month different performers and vendors will be put into the spotlight.
We encourage artists/performers or all kinds to submit their work for a chance to be in the spotlight at future Community Creative's.

This event is 19+

Our performers this month include:

Kathryn Merriam (@kathrynmerriam)

Eden Jamie  (@edenjamiea)
"With heart tearing, soul bearing lyrics, and tunes that transcend genre, Eden Jamie fuses her honest poetry with melodies
to match - like a hot pot of alternative music for the soul."

J.K. Matthews (@j.k.matthews)
"J.K. Matthews mixes elements of Alternative, Blues and RnB to form unique soundscapes for story driven songs."

Scorpling Alliance (@scorplingalliance)
"The female duo dubs their music as, Theatrical Space Rock. You've been blasted by a laser beam into a collective of past, present and futuristic sound waves reminiscent of times spent bathing in star dust!"

Moonhead (@moonheadtheband)
"An original funk, pop band from Toronto."

Our vendors this month are:

Aleha Darabaka (
Offering readings
" Multi-disciplinary Belly Dancer, performer, healer and oracle reader based out of Toronto.
Aleha embodies Goddess energy through her love of performance, modelling, oracle reading, colour and sound therapy.
She has studied varied styles of Belly Dancing that she incorporates by fusing them all into her own unique style. She's always
challenging her creativity by inventing new, original characters and costumes that she puts together to give her audience a high theatrical and visual experience."

Skully Moulder (@skullymoulder)
"Handmade Skull planters and skull candles made from repurposed wax. For the guys and ghouls who like to add a little darkness to their decor. "

Dire Threads (@dire_threads)
"An independent Toronto brand dedicated to creating apparel covered in strange creatures and distorted designs."

Alexis Ashley (@alexisashleyart)
" Toronto based self-taught abstract resin artist inspired by nature and music. Using a combination of acrylic paints, resin, epoxy and mixed media on wood panels."

Sam Waldner  (@samfotosynthesis)
"The art that Sam Waldner creates immediately catches the eye as textured, multidisciplinary, and layered. The pieces beg the viewer to look from corner to corner, to examine every slope and spike of paint and colour, as you never know what's hiding beneath. The work transforms photographic images into three-dimensional works of art and is based on the philosophy of integrating Jung's concept of the "anima" as a way to self-individuation. This is Waldner's journey of self-discovery and connecting to the collective unconsciousness."

On The Sides Records will have a merch/info table at side stage. Our featured item of the night is Mike Siracusa's "Brush On Kool", famous musicians hot sauce! No mild, no medium, just HOT!  - these sell quick!

Come, hang out, Charlie and see what the community has to offer!
